A Peek Under the Hood | 500x

Fiat has been producing the 500 series since 2014, and every year they put out a better and improved new car model then the previous. The 2017 model of 500x keeps this trend going.

This crossover vehicle features two available engine options- a 1.4-liter turbo four cylinder engine with the choice of a six-speed manual or a nine-speed auto transmission and front-wheel drive, producing 160-hp; or a 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 with a nine-speed auto transmission and choice of front- or all-wheel drive, producing 180-hp.

Oklahoma drivers will also be excited about the upgrade in safety features that the Fiat 500x has to offer. It will come with a hill-start assist and stability control, seven airbags, and a rear-view camera coming standard with the Lounge and Trekking Plus. Additional options include blind-spot detection, lane departure, and a cross-path warning system.

The interior of the 500x is sleek and efficient, but by no means lacking. Its features include an LCD screen and infotainment system in the dash, interior climate controls, Bluetooth, camera displays, multiple body-trim options, an optional sunroof, keyless ignition, and an option for its Beats audio system with 6-speakers to top it all off.

The 2017 Fiat 500x is now available and the base model pricing has an MSRP beginning at $19,995 without options. For more information about the car, or about getting your own 500x to drive the streets of Edmond, please contact us at Fiat of Edmond.
